All the Benefits From Drinking Water First Thing in the Morning

Drinking water before breakfast on an empty stomach immediately after waking up provides amazing health benefits. This water routine comes from the ancient Ayurveda medicine. It is also known under the term ‘Usha Paana Chikitsa’ which in translation means ‘water treatment early in the morning’.

This water practice cleanses the colon, purifies the internal body system, and improves nutrient absorption. Dr. Batmanghelidj in 1970’s re-discovered this ancient practice and found out that water is natural elixir for real because it can treat various diseases, including arthritis, diabetes, migraines, and asthma.

Dr. Batmanghelidj treated more than 3,000 people who were suffering from peptic ulcer disease which was induced by stress, thanks to the miraculous power of water. Immediately after waking up, drink about 8 oz glass of water (fluoride-free) on an empty stomach. It should be similar to distilled water (add minerals in it, including baking soda). You can eat or drink something after 45 minutes. In addition, drink 1 cup of water 30 minutes before your meals, and 2 hours after each meal.
