How To Make Coconut Water Kefir At Home
There are three ways to prepare coconut water kefir. You can either use kefir starter, kefir starter culture, or kefir grains. Using kefir grains is the easiest method of getting the original coconut water kefir, so you don’t have to spend a fortune to get the needed ingredients.
Ingredients you will need:
- 1 Ceylon Cinnamon stick
- 5 tbsp. of water Kefir grains
- 7 cups of fresh Coconut water
Start off by pouring the fresh coconut water in a half gallon jar, then add the kefir grains and put the lid on.
Let the liquid sit for 48 hours but no more as the jar might explode. Don’t close the jar too tight either.
Once the fermentation of the grains is done, and the grains are floating on the surface, this means take the grains out and store them aside to use them again.
