In this article we are going to show you a recipe for preparing a natural mouthwash based on baking soda, which will help you efficiently remove tartar and give you a health shining smile.
We all know that baking soda is one of the most powerful cleansers which has a large variety of uses, and one of them being for maintaining oral hygiene. It is packed with potent bleaching and stain removing properties and it has an antibacterial properties which remove tartar and microbes and cure your bad breath.
Preparing The Mouthwash:
Ingredients you will need:
- 1 tbsp. of Baking Soda
- ½ a tsp. of Salt
- ½ a cup of Hydrogen Peroxide
- 1 cup of cold Water
- ½ a cup of warm Water
Start off by combining the salt and baking soda, then wet the toothbrush in some warm water. Spread the mixture on the toothbrush, and brush your teeth then spit out. Repeat this for 2 minutes.
Once done, mix the hydrogen peroxide with some warm water and use the solution to rinse your mouth for one minute. In the end, remove the tartar from between your teeth using a toothpick, and rinse your mouth with cold water.
Repeat this procedure twice a week and do oil pulling.
Note: Do not swallow this mouthwash as it contains harmful ingredients. For maintaining optimal oral health, brush your teeth three times a day with a quality toothpaste and avoid spicy foods.
