Treat Dark Spots, Skin Allergies and Acne Using Only Guava Leaves!

Most of us have had skin issues such as dark spots, wrinkles, blemish or acne and if you too have had such issue, then you know how uncomfortable it is. However we don’t always need expensive cosmetic products and procedures to treat these sorts of issues since there are natural alternative remedies that work far more efficiently than most commercial products.

Guava leaves are an incredible way to treat your skin issues. There are 4 ways in which you can use guava leaves, so check them out:

  1. Cure Dermatitis (Atopic)

Guava leaves can reduce the irritation and redness caused by atopic dermatitis as they contain anti-allergic abilities which prevent the creation of histamines (chemicals which cause swelling, itching and sneezing as well as allergy symptoms).

  1. Treat Acne

According to the American Journal of Chinese Medicine, a study confirms the efficiency of guava leaves to treat microscopic organisms such as acne. The guava leaves have this potent effect thanks to the antibacterial abilities and properties that not only treat acne, but soothe the skin and reduce pimples.

  1. Eliminate Wrinkles

Believe it or not, guava leaves have more benefits than the fruit itself, and this has been scientifically proven. They contain potent anti-cancer properties which destroy free radicals and improve the overall skin quality, thus removing wrinkles.

  1. Lighten Dark Spots

Blemishes (dark or red spots on the face) can easily be treated using guava leaves. Guava leaves are a tonic agent which reduces irritation by eliminating microscopic organisms.

In cases of atopic dermatitis, it is best to use dried guava leaves grinded in a tub of warm water. They will relieve redness and itching and make you feel comfortable.

In the rest of the cases, simply crush a few guava leaves, add them to a saucepan, add water and boil them. Wait for the color to get red and concentrated, then remove it from heat and let it cool. Once done, apply the tonic on your face using a cotton ball. Let it sit for 15 minutes and wash it off with lukewarm water. Repeat this treatment 2 times a week and you’ll notice improvements.
